Wall Mount Fiberglass Enclosure
Application
Ralston's FRP-WM Series is designed to house electrical and/or electronic components in corrosive environments.
With the FRP-WM Series, it is possible to use an enclosure with high-resistance to corrosion, thus obtaining better long-term results than traditional sheet steel types.
Especially recommended for installation in all environments, indoors and outdoors in which dust, humidity, presence of acids, extreme conditions such as snow, ice, tropical climate, etc, make the use of fiberglass more advantageous.
Construction
All FRP-WM series enclosures are molded from fiberglass with a fire retardant resin, marine grade gel-coat with UV inhibitors. FRPI-WM has a 1" encapsulated urethane foam core. All FRP-WM series are equipped with 3/8 metal collar studs for optional mounting inner panels. An EPDM rubber gasket with spring steel self-gripping core is applied to the molded lip around the door opening ensuring an optimum seal when the door is closed. Doors are mounted with a stainless steel continuous hinge, and secured closed with a stainless steel padlockable vault handle. The FRP-WM series includes an inner panel with purchase.
Finish
• Exterior surface: Marine grade gel-coat with UV inhibitors
• All enclosures are ANSI/ASA 61 grey. Inner back panels are 12 ga. [painted with high gloss white powder coatings.
Standards
These enclosures are made to the requirements of NEMA type 12 for use with industrial control equipment in ordinary locations, type 13 for an oil and dust tight enclosure, and type 4, 4X as a water tight corrosion resistant enclosure. These enclosures meet Resin Systems: fire retardant class 1.
